• Black and white ruffed lemurs are among the largest living lemurs and the largest pollinators in the world.
• With the exception of the aptly named howler monkey, black-and-white ruffed lemurs have the loudest call of all primates.
• They are named for the “ruff” of fur that runs around their faces and chins.
