The Into the Wild Zootique Experience
At Into the Wild, we believe every visit should be an expedition. Scout, the Red Panda, our Chief Explorer, leads the way for our trekkers, turning a trip to the "Zootique" into a high-tech scavenger hunt through the rainforest.
How the Junior Explorer's Club Works:
The Quest Begins: When kids enter the store, they can ask to be officially recruited into the Junior Explorer's Club. Their mission? (should they choose to except) To find Scout’s favorite animal friends hidden throughout the Zootique.
Scan to Learn: Using a smartphone or tablet, Junior Explorers find and scan unique hidden QR codes located near the animal displays. Explorers then write down one fun fact they learned on their Expedition Guide Parchment and then move onto the next animal to discover!
Digital Discovery: Each scan transports them directly to Scout's Field Guide on the website. There, they unlock "Field Notes"—fun facts, conservation tips, and deep-dives into the lives of the creatures they’ve just "discovered" in the store.
Trek Complete: Once they’ve explored the digital trail and learned about the animals, they return to the base camp (the register). By showing they’ve conquered the trail, they are officially inducted into the Junior Explorer's Club. Recruits receive Scout's Offical Stamp on the Expedition Guide Parchment, the coveted Gold Junior Explorer's Badge, Scout's Into The Wild Sticker and join Scout’s elite inner circle!!
