The Into the Wild Zootique Experience
At Into the Wild, we believe every visit should be an expedition. Scout, the Red Panda, our Chief Explorer, leads the way for our trekkers, turning a trip to the "Zootique" into a high-tech scavenger hunt through the rainforest.
How the Junior Explorer Club Works:
The Quest Begins: When kids enter the store, they are officially recruited into the Junior Explorer Club. Their mission? (should they choose to except) To find Scout’s favorite animal friends hidden throughout the Zootique.
Scan to Learn: Using a smartphone or tablet, Junior Explorers find and scan unique hidden QR codes located near the animal displays.
Digital Discovery: Each scan transports them directly to Scout's Field Guide on the website. There, they unlock "Field Notes"—fun facts, conservation tips, and deep-dives into the lives of the creatures they’ve just "discovered" in the store.
Trek Complete: Once they’ve explored the digital trail and learned about the animals, they return to the base camp (the register). By showing they’ve conquered the trail, they earn a special prize and Scout's Field Pass (punch card) beginning their official journey to become a Junior Explorer!!
Claim Your Field Pass: Upon completion of their mission, every recruit receives their Field Pass. This is your ticket to the wild—keep it safe, because Scout only rewards those who truly "earn their stripes."
Level Up Your Status: One trek is just the beginning! Each time you complete a full scan-and-search mission, you’ll earn a "specialist punch" on your Field Pass. Be sure to follow us on our facebook page to find out when the next mission begins!
Visit 1: Earn your Scout’s Apprentice status and a special field reward.
Visit 2: Discover new animals and Level up to and unlock your second prize and receive another special punch on the field pass.
The Grand Finale: On your third successful mission, you’ll complete your Field Pass and officially be inducted into the Junior Explorer Club. You’ll receive the coveted Gold Junior Explorer Badge and join Scout’s elite inner circle!! 🐾
